This is what God the LORD says — He who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it:

“I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.

“I am the LORD; that is My name!! I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols. See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”

if luck exists, only if…… i’d have to say that i am indeed the luckiest man on earth — loving and understanding family, beautiful and caring girlfriend, and wonderful friends all around….

but you see, luck doesn’t exist…… so i’d have to paraphrase what i just said; instead, that i am blessed — very, very blessed, indeed.  all because of the God who happens to like me a lot (and you, too!)….. who happens to be so eager to lavish on me with such wonderful people and blessings  in my life…… when i am the least to deserve it all.

man, i couldn’t ask for anything better.  so, thank you, whoever you are, you have been a blessing to me.

it is all frustrating,
as if you’re amidst a foggy companies of wild bushes
not knowing where to go or even what you want.
you squint your eyes to see the distance
but your physical limitations seem to just betray you.
and you wish, you wish, you could just hear what’s going on,
or to even just know which direction to head to..

you’re all tied up — strangled,
you’re claustrophobic in that suit of confusion and frustration.
you’re tired of struggling.

you’re just tired.

and in the midst of this,
i do acknowledge that i am not your savior..
not the hero of your day…nor am i one.
and i realize that i will not be able to fix it
(even though part of me cries out in rebellion
– in disbelief of my own limitations and frailty)

….and i refrain.
refrain from robbing God’s job description.
refrain from stealing His glory.
Because i have nothing under my sleeves for you,
nothing but A God whose love shines through all the stars.

i have faith, and i know,
that even though you may not notice through your skin,
He is working it all out.
and no, He’s not taking a rest,
and no, He’s not taking a breather.

Hang in there,
Beacuse He is fighting for you,
He is working it all out.. (He’s got it all figured out)
And i for one will be all ears to hear and do what He has to say.
i know you will too.
